The Masters in Human Nutrition consists of 33 credits and a research-based Master's Thesis. Students can choose one of three Thesis tracks, basic nutrition science, clinical nutrition, or public health nutrition. During the program, students will match with a mentor to assist them with their thesis and connect them with relevant opportunities. Our courses and thesis research options aim to enhance nutrition knowledge and skills, which can be applied to academic, research, and clinical settings.

Typically, the MS Program takes one year to complete, including a summer semester. However, part-time program options are available for students who prefer a more flexible schedule.

Apart from gaining extensive training in nutrition science, students also improve their critical thinking, writing, and public speaking skills by the end of the program.

Most students who enroll in our program go on to pursue medical, dental, or other healthcare-related professions. However, the program also serves as a foundation for those who plan to pursue a PhD or start working immediately upon graduation.
